Amethyst is a variety of crystalline Quartz with a characteristic purple color, it is a beautiful stone whose color can vary from light lilac to a dark and deep purple. Its name derives from the Greek améthystos, which literally means “not drunk”, meaning attributed by the Greeks to this mineral, who were convinced that keeping a small stone in the glass helped to stay sober. The Romans also carried on this belief and made it their own by using Amethyst cups during events. In this way the host could drink water by passing it off as wine, avoiding giving in to drunkenness like the rest of the guests, and therefore remaining lucid.
This apartment, finished renovating in March 2025, is located on the first floor in a quiet late 18th century building on Via Salvator Rosa, in the famous Avvocata neighborhood a few meters from the historic center of Naples and a short distance from the residential neighborhood of Vomero. Located near bus stops and a short distance from the Salvator Rosa L1 metro station and 10 minutes from the Montesanto funicular. L’Ametista has its own independent door which is accessed via the sturdy and ancient door of the entire structure.
All openings are equipped with home automation entrance with keypad, badge or telephone app.
It consists of a single room with a living kitchen with induction hob, microwave oven, fridge, kettle, ese pod coffee machine. Furthermore, in the room we will find a double bed, with a comfortable mattress and an inevitable topper to be able to rest in an excellent way, after spending days discovering the Neapolitan capital. In the apartment we also find a spacious wardrobe, a 55″ flat-screen LCD smart TV, a Yale safe and heat pump air conditioning.
The private bathroom is equipped with Grohe taps, a spacious shower, an electric heated towel rail and a hairdryer.

The apartment overlooks Via Salvator Rosa, a road that connects the Vomero area to the historic center. The windows have been equipped with ozone-filled glass for greater acoustic and thermal insulation, insulation that is completed by original wooden shields of the time and finely restored.
To complete the beauty of this apartment with the classic “flagship” is a large terrace of about 25 square meters for exclusive use.
